Summer Intensive Programs

Milwaukee Ballet School Mission
The mission of Milwaukee Ballet School is to offer children and adults of all ages a variety of courses designed to provide a complete education in classical dance. Pre-professional students have the opportunity to develop skills, experience, and discipline which are necessary foundations for a professional dance career. Milwaukee Ballet School offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere, supports the growth of classical ballet by maintaining the highest standards, and nurtures the talent of every student.
With a daily schedule that rivals a professional company in the amount of hours spent in the studio and the supervised independence of campus living, Milwaukee Ballet's Summer Intensive Program provides the opportunity for tremendous technical, artistic, and personal growth in each student.
Milwaukee Ballet School offers two summer intensive programs:
- A six-week Pre-Professional Summer Program and
- A three-week Intermediate Summer Program.
An audition is required for both programs. Please see the Program Descriptions and Auditions pages for more details.
Milwaukee Ballet School is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
