Student Division - Pre-Professional Division

With the exception of Ballet I, summer classes in the Student Division are designed to keep students in shape while continuing to work on technique and artistry at a fun summer environment.

Current Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy students are placed in the Summer Division according to their progress reports given at the end of the 2011-12 school year.  New students age 8 and older must contact the School Office at 414-649-4077 to discuss proper student placement.

Class Attire:
Girls: Plain black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Long hair in a bun.  Short hair neatly secured away from face.
Boys: Plain white T-Shirt, black shorts or tights, white socks, black ballet shoes

Ballet I

This is the introductory course to Milwaukee Ballet School's classical ballet curriculum for students who have completed Pre-Ballet or new students age 7 as of June 1, 2012.

Ballet Day Camp

The perfect way for a budding dancers to spend their summer days!  Students who have completed Ballet III, Ballet IV or Ballet V (new students contact the School Office for placement information) can come to Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy for days filled with dance - ballet, character, variations, jazz, dance history, nutrition, injury prevention, stretching and strengthening are some of the classes taking place during the Ballet Day Camp!  Here is a sample schedule of the day at the Ballet!      8:45a.m.               Arrival      9:00-10:30a.m.    Ballet Class      10:45-11:45a.m.  Stretch Class      12:00-12:45p.m.   Lunch Break (students pack their own lunch)      12:45-2:00p.m.     Style Class (may include jazz, charater, variations, etc)      2:15-3:15p.m.       Lecture (dance history, nutrition, etc)      3:15p.m.               Dismissal

Maintenance Class C - new sessions this year!

For students who have completed Ballet IV, Ballet V or Ballet VI; new students contact the School for placement information.  Class will include ballet, pre-pointe, and pointe (for those already on pointe), character, variations*.  On the registration form, indicate dates of session(s) you desire.  The content of each session will ary.  Students may take Session I, Session II or both sessions.  Jody Peck Center only has one session.  See Registration Information section for details on prorating sessions.

Register for 3 weeks and receive 10% off each additional week.
