The Moscickes

Jim and Kristin Moscicke
Receptionists

Local residents Jim and Kristin Moscicke have been working at the reception desk of the Milwaukee Ballet School since 1998. In addition to receptionist responsibilities, they have also volunteered in many other capacities at the Ballet School. Some of these volunteer activities include helping the wardrobe department, backstage dressing room attendants, stagehands and ushers at school performances, airport greeters for summer students, and helping with the annual Nutcracker Festival, which was originally held at the Milwaukee Ballet Studio. And Jim has worked as videographer for many of the school performances.

Before coming to the Milwaukee Ballet School, Jim and Kristin were part-time office staff members of the Et Toi, tu Danses? company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they worked with Yves de Bouteiller from 1995 to 1998. Two of their greatest experiences while at Et Toi, tu Danses? were the creation of several tutus from the ground up (having to make the patterns themselves to the final fittings) and working with choreographer Mark Dendy.

Jim and Kristin also took part in the creation of the Lake County Dance Theatre in Hartland, Wisconsin, with Kristin serving on the original board of directors.

They are also proud parents of Jacqueline Moscicke, an Artist with the Milwaukee Ballet Company.
