Stephanie Ruiz

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Stephanie Ruiz began her dance training at UWM at the age of nine. She then continued her training with Milwaukee Ballet School where she danced six days per week until age fifteen. Stephanie performed in The Nutcracker and Swan Lake; she also performed dance solos for her grandmother Josephine Busalacchi, owner of the Milwaukee Opera Company. In 2005 Stephanie came back to further her ballet training and was offered a teaching position for creative movement, pre-ballet I, II and III which she now teaches at the Jodi Peck Center and Towne Centre Branch. She has dreamt of dancing her whole life and is happy to be sharing it with others. Stephanie now resides in New Berlin, Wisconsin with her husband and two young children.
