Christal Wagner

Christal Wagner graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the spring of 2007 with a BFA in Dance. While in school and after graduation she has performed with Elizabeth Jonhson's company, Your Mother Dances since its beginning in 2006. Upon graduation she was offered a job as a company member in Danceworks Performing Company and was featured prominently in the Dance Magazine article highlighting Milwaukee Dance in 2008. During her studies at UWM, she had been selected to perform in guest artist pieces by Ron K. Brown, Clare Byrne, Daniel Gwirtzman, and Laura Dean. She now has the pleasure of teaching for Danceworks Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap program, for Danceworks community outreach projects, and for UW Milwaukee as a jazz dance instructor. In Winter of 2010 she had the pleasure of setting work on the MBII company and on MHSA. This is her second year as an instructor for Milwaukee Ballet.
